Out of my price range, but who cares. Definitely a fun place to browse. But…if I had the money to buy I would have been drawn to the swords. Quite an array among other fun stuff.

An awesome little shop that had a lot of what I like, from old post cards, photographs, and paintings. I picked up 3 things while I was there. (One of which was a tintype photo)

A very cool shop! There are tons of postcards, small posters you can frame, old jars, bottles, just lots of interesting things to look at. I would recommend spending a little time in here when in Chelan.

You can easily spend a day in here and barely take it all in. The place has everything – jewelry, pottery, silver, furniture, art glass… I especially like sculpture and fine art and there are plenty of nice items there to enjoy.

A lot of Americana…fun. Not the best in antique variety, but there is also an 50’s era ice cream parlor and soda fountain. How cool! Didn’t have the ice cream, but I did have a cream soda and cherry cola. Just how they used to taste… :)

Now…this place was fun...
This shop had a wide variety of high quality antiques – many very interesting items. I spent quite a while there simply enjoying their large collection (on 3 floors of an old masonic building).
In the antique pamphlet there is a box with this statement:
“Want to Advertise on this map? In these tough econimic times adversitsing increases your customer flow.”
Say what?

in Burlington, Vermont.
An assortment of furniture, prints, jewelry, postcards, and old appliances. Nothing stood out among any of this – mostly junk. But the sheet music looked interesting. Not that I play anything, but I wouldn’t mind going in again and sifting through. There might be something notable that would look attractive framed…
in Shelburne, Vermont.
Last time I was in there I had my eye on a couple of paintings. Some dollars in my wallet were itching to come out. But I resisted. :( I hate when that happens…

Standing in front of the shop is “The Coke Man,” which has been standing there since the 1950s in front of a roadside cafe. It’s been repainted by the new owner and he put the name of his store on the statue instead of “Coke.”
There’s an old radio set I want there. ;-)
