The mechanical side

of my brain really likes this!

Kerry O. Furlani

stone carving, like this one, makes me want to learn stone carving. This woman is beyond amazing!

Bold flowing colors!

This painting makes me want to live life more fully…
Could I do something like this…I think so!

I finally got around

to hanging this framed print in the hallway. I bought it at an antique store in Brattleboro a year ago this month. If ever there was an image that depicts bliss, I think this one does it. ...and there’s nothing wrong with a little bliss in life, is there?

Sorry, not the greatest photo, but’s it’s hard to get the right angle and lighting for this particular artwork. But I think it looks great to the naked eye…

Fall

is a beautiful array of colors and I have some ideas about projects I want to do with the different colors of leaves I see now. I would want to combine them with bright sky blues and images of wisps of breezes against an interesting backdrop – of a lake/pond, buildings and fences.

This is the image that got me thinking of this.

I’ve been wanting to learn to paint. Does this seem doable to you? What do you think, experienced painters?

I have been

trying my hand at drawing somewhat, but Christopher Nuespiel is an incredible talent in this regard. Really AMAZING work!

Cool thing is – I know him. Take a look!

Maureen Anne Jensen

is just plain fun! My day becomes brighter when I see the results of her paint brush.

Enough to buy it

This is a watercolor by Katharine Montstream from ‘04.

I bought

this postcard reproduction at the Mt. Washington Hotel and loved it. (This is a c. 1926 image) I’ve yet to see the hotel all lit up at night with a beautiful full moon shining down, but I will some day. For now, my inspiration is to frame this!

Extreme dose

of sunset in this oil by Paul Hudyma. I love it!!!
