The Quest

I’ve always been a geeky rock hunter. I like unique and colorful odd shaped rocks and I like to find them just about everywhere I go.

The other day a co-worker gave me a little rock she found at a nearby beach and said it is a lucky rock. I told her that that if I got my dream job or hit the lottery big she’d be the first I’d look to for a huge hug…or to spare a bit of my winnings. LOL

Am I one of the few rock nuts out here?

In my daily travels I walked into a shop (women’s apparel) and in the process of my business I could overhear the manager’s phone conversation in which she said, “it’s not my problem you can’t get him up.” The tone in which she said this led to my off-the-cuff quip, “I really shouldn’t be listening to this conversation.” And I gave her a bit of a smirk. She then gave me a pseudo shocked look and said, “I am talking about getting my dog up to go outside.”

Whoops… I made my way out of there in quick time knowing I was probably the topic of conversation for the rest of the day.

was where we stayed in Quebec City. The room and bathroom were not exactly royalty…but the location was unbelievable. Evenings were spent wining and dining on the 3rd floor terrace and to walk along the boardwalk near the famous Le Chateau Frontenac was just across the park.

has been great and I’m enjoying all the time I get with her when I’m not working (which is a lot). But I just wanted to tell you all that I miss chatting with you here and sharing thoughts and ideas about life. I appreciate all my friends on 43T and I miss you all so much! I’m looking forward to spending more time here…but probably not much before I get my 2-week vacation in September. Be well and happy!

in the morn. I’ve wanted to go there for the last 15 years! Finally…

a classic underdog stepping away from her comfort zone and taking a chance. And then just rocks the world with her talent! And when the tabloid goons attacked her like a pack of wolves, she didn’t bail. She took them by the gonads and tossed them away like a hammer thrower. Pretty amazing in my book.
