build a yurt

Over the last few weeks I’ve been looking for an affordable structure I can build for business (office) and for guests. In my research I’ve discovered the Yurt, and found it’s quite a cool structure. I’m moving into the planning stage and have a ton of questions. I don’t really want to buy a kit, I’m actually thinking about building one from materials from my local hardware store. Are there any hints or keys to building a yurt from scratch?
