25 years?

I haven’t seen my friend Luc since the mid-eighties. He moved away from our home town before I did and I haven’t simultaneously had the time and the money to go visit him since. We were the same size so we used to get matched up together for boxing matches on the lawn back in the late 70s. We were a close match for a while, but he started getting bigger and stronger than me. The last time we battled, he actually picked me up and pressed me like a barbell. Although considerably thinner than I am now, I was not small and lifting any person like that is a feat or strength, let alone someone over six feet tall.

He has been living on Kauai since he left town.
