pay off my debts

I PAID OFF MY FIRST (1ST) CREDIT CARD EVER!!!!! =D

My hopes, are by the end of 09 I will be more than 1/2 way complete in my journey to be Debt Free and Financially Stable!

“Pay Off my Debt”.... Does it seem like a scratch record that continually plays in your head…. U know the song you Hate but it’s the one that getz stuck in ur Head…. Well with that Alll Said… I have truly been making a Huge effort to accomplish this Goal. and Funny enough at my church they brought Financial Guru Dave Ramsey on board to teach us all about attaining Financial Peace… and man I can’t tell you how effective it has been. Now it wasn’t Dave Ramsey in the Flesh but he has what he calls Financial Peace University. which as it sounds, is a weekly class taught Via DVD on a Big Screen and each week he gives one insite as to how to be Debt free. The Beauty of these classes is that it goes Waaaay Beyond money Talk and Approaches “Life Talk” dealing with one’s financial situation can really put ones life into perspective. Anyways I don’t mean to ramble but I feel confident that before this year ends i’ll be debt free!!! Thank You Thank You!!! I wanted to go into the steps I have been taking but this is already long and a drag… So stay tuned until next Time… but for u folks Out there Don’t Lose hope!!! Itz underway… not fully paid off but in the last couple months i’v been paying on time (paying on time makes ALL the difference) Well 3 of my credit cards raised my credit limit …. which is a goood sign….. and i can see extra money now ( couldn’t see that before)...

Make that effort

• pay bills ontime
• save extra money

So i really Have been Working on this Goal here… It wuz soo important for me to embark on the next chapter of my life DEBT FREE and for the longest time i simple thought it just wasn’t gonna happen… Better yet it Couldn’t happen. I really started to think that… but I couldn’t just leave it at that…

In the near future I plan on moving out of my house and find my own place and soon after that i would be shopping for my house… but with so much Debt i just couldn’t see it happening.

Couple things i needed to work on was
1. Paying my bills on time….
The thing is…. its not that i didn’t have the money.. it was more about me being too lazy to mail it in… yeah i know… how sad =(

2. Spending OHHH SOOooo FrivoLously…
I’m this close to being a shopAholic… But Not Quite… alot of times itz for a good Cause .. other than my own…

3. Saving…
I will save money.. but let the day come when i need extra money to go Travelling(which I LOVE 2 do OHH SOO MUCH) I would alwayz Delve into my Savings….. NOT COOL

4. a couple of other things I need to work on… but these three areas…are the main areas that needed work…

Solution.

1. Sign up for online payment… you wouldn’t believe how much this helps!... IT DOES NOT nessarily mean the money will be automatically deducted from ur account.. but u can manually go into ur account and make the payment for urself….it is a Very Easy and Conveniant Way to make ur bill payment each month…

2. Each month i decide on the things I need and Plan to make one purchase for that segment ( monthly, weekly etc). Writing a List Helps… and I have a designated amout of money left out 4 just/in/case situations… and everything Else… well see Solution 3….

3… SAve Save Save… for a rainy day.. for a day of splurges…. Save money for whatever it is u need to do… just a money Specifically for that one thing…. Anthing outside of That needs to Be saved… whether a Bank, Credit Union.. or under the bed ( wouldn’t recommend that last option but Hey!! whatevR floats Ur boat!!!

Try It 4 a Month See ohw Things WOrk.,... If it Doesn’t then One needs to Regroup and ReTry with New Plan… but that is The First Step… ( Effort)

Anywayz Kiddies…. Clearly I’ve written enough Already…. if u want to be debt free Make the Effort and i guarantee u’ll see Results..
