How this started

I started doing this last New Year (as in… the day before 01/01/2009). I’m not sure that it’ll be enough doing it just twice a year, especially since my feelings about my sister change from day to day. But I really want to give her some record of her life for those 8 years, because she really sucks at keeping journals, and I don’t want her to forget the times we spent together as children.
8 more years. Wow, I’ll be 23 then.
