write for God more than myself.

I have been writing, just not blogging my writings. I think I am going to post all four entries on my myspace soon. So, for those of you who are keeping me accountable for this, and those of you who read my blogs regularly, don’t worry, come next week, you will have four to read.

I love this goal. Really. It makes me feel so… I don’t even know the word for it, but I love it. I love telling people my beliefs and thoughts and love to see their reaction to my beliefs. And above all else, I love to honor Him with the gift that He gave to me. It’s amazing.

I made a promise to surrender my writing. And no, I don’t mean that I am going to give up writing in any sense, I just mean that I am going to start writing more for God and less for myself. I realized that I write merely for my own personal gain and I hardly ever write about my faith, or even the amazing things God is doing in my life. So, I decided that things are going to change. Yes, I am going to continue to write my stories and yes, I still want to get a book published by the time I am 25, but I am also going to write for God. After all, He is the reason that I have the ability to write the way I do, why shouldn’t I glorify Him with a gift He gave to me?
