You would think that this one is a no-brainer… yet we all seem to put off important self-care items.
I had a motorbike accident 5 years ago, injured my shoulder and spine, put on lots of weight, bout of depression…
So finally last year I couldn’t take the pain any longer and really started investigating how to sort out my neck/should/back pain. It only took 6 months of seeing a chiropractor and a remedial massage therapist and I feel almost pain free (just an ankle injury to sort out – didn’t even notice the pain because my neck was so bad!)
Why did I wait so long to get help?
Next my teeth, I had a niggling pain in a tooth for about 4 months – never made time to go to the dentist until the tooth broke! Now I have to have it pulled ($800), whereas I might of been able to save it at a much cheaper cost when it had started to hurt 4 months ago.
So now I need to
1. Lose weight (have started this)
2. Exercise regulary (trying to get a routine going)
3. Get my eyesight checked
4. Get my hearing checked
5. Have a pap smear
6. Go to the doctors about my finger and left ear!
Goal is to do all of this by the end of the year!
