to focus on the article and not work on anything else until it’s done. Then work on the secrets project for the rest of the two weeks until we meet again.
It’s interesting that they brought up my lack of focus before I did. Well, in a nicer way. Braveheart said that she thinks the reason I don’t feel I’m accomplishing anything is because I’m spread too thin. Trying to do too many things at once.
“You have two blogs, you are working on a novel (or two), you’re working on the secrets project, you’re going to the gym, you’re working full time…” etc. And she has no idea the level of my involvement in 43Things and Facebook.
The mere idea of cutting things out panics me a little. I get a lot of positive feedback here and on Facebook.

I think of multitasking as a positive thing, but it’s gotten to the point that I seldom feel I am doing enough. Also, it makes things that shouldn’t be difficult a little more stressful because I’m always listening for the timer to ring on the washer or the oven. Or thinking about what else I could do when I’m doing one thing.
Over the Christmas/New Year holiday some of my best days were ones during which I devoted blocks of time to certain things like going to the gym, sitting and reading in a coffee house, a writing date, etc.
I need to do this for myself on typical evenings, rather than watching TV while updating my blog and paying bills!
