Figure out what to do about my blogs

Inviting contributions from my writer friends. Good response to the idea so far!

Which is what ran out of space on my Blogspot Blog. $20/year. Okay, that’s cool. I’ve gotten a lot of good out of it for free for four years.

Okay, so here’s the thing. I filled up all the space on my Blogger blog. A person I met at a blogging event talked me into switching over to WordPress.

I am VERY unhappy with WordPress. The free version is just a pain to work with, doesn’t allow advertising (not that I really have any at this point), I can’t figure out how to add 3rd party widgets (like the NaNoWriMo word counter) and is not as well-liked by my readers. But people keep telling me it’s all state of the art and acting like I should be ashamed to still be using a BlogSpot blog. Sigh.

So now I have some stuff in one place and some stuff in another and I’m not sure how to fix it. I think I’m going to pay for more space on Blogspot and try to migrate the stuff I’ve written on Wordpress back over to BlogSpot. I’m a little scared about possibly screwing things up, but what else to do?

I need to figure this out soon.
