4) Barry McGuire and John York - Trippin' the Sixties

Amazing concert. Barry McGuire has amazing energy…John York, too. Fun show, lots of singing along. And a friend and I got up on stage and sang with them when they asked for volunteers to sing the “ba dahs” on “Monday Monday.” See them if you can, Trippin the Sixties

3) Tom Paxton at McCCabe's - March 31, 2012

We’ve seen Tom Paxton play at McCabe’s every year for many years running. This time we were joined by five friends from our acoustic music club. We had dinner together before the show. Then, as we stood in line waiting to be let into the first come/first served venue, we sang Tom Paxton songs and others.

Apparently he heard us… oh right, the green room was right upstairs from where we were lined up. He mentioned us during the show. :D

2) Ronny Cox house concert

He’s the guy in “Deliverance” who played the guitar with the autistic boy…Dueling Banjoes. Very entertaining guy. He came right out and talked to us when we arrived at the house concert. So cool!

1) Tracy Grammer at The Coffee Gallery - January 20, 2012

Great venue. Too bad there wasn’t a bigger turn out. Love her stage presence. Good opportunity to get together with some friends who like The Coffee Gallery but don’t always know the performers there.

Have made 3 reservations already

Tracey Grammer this month, Eric Bibb in February and Tom Paxton in March!
