This song was the first song that he played for me. He was like ; “sam listen to the lyrics.. that is what I want to say to you”

The lyrics were so meaningful and sweet.. and it became one of my favourite song, and remains to this day.

My mom…. My earliest recollection of her, (after the one where she grounded me for two days), was her singing this song. I will always associate this song with her now…

WayY back when we first started ‘talking’ on 43things. It was so funny.. cause she was trying to live her life vicariously through me… hence she was egging me on to wear the black suit that Olivia Newton John wore in Grease, whilst singing this song.
