Scored 91.5% on my first Nutrition assignment, 91% on the second one. Third is due this Wednesday (but no late penalties for submissions up to and including Friday … kind prof!) and my final is on the 28th.

I scored an 80% on my philosophy final. That gives me an 82% on the course! Huzzah!
Wrote my Critical Thinking exam a week and a half ago. Still waiting for the results. I know I did not do as well as I had hoped. Starting Basic Human Nutrition in a couple weeks.
I finished my first university course in over 14 years this past December. Anatomy 100. Scored an “A” (93%). Starting Critical Thinking next Monday! At 0.5 credits per term, this will take a while, but I know I’ll wake up some day thinking “damn, it’s done?”
As I expected. Been invited to write a letter requesting probationary status. Doing that now. Pretty sure this is mostly a formality. If accepted then I have to complete “three courses” (not sure what that means … 1/5 credits?) with a 60+ average to be accepted to a program. Onwards and upwards!
I’ve sent my transcripts in and now I am waiting to hear back. I fully expect to get rejected based on my previous post-secondary results. I was, um, not the best University students way back when. But I am prepared for that eventuality. There is an appeals process which I am pretty sure will allow me to get started on a probationary basis. Hey, some people are ready for University at 18, and some people are ready at 36. I’m in the later group. :) In the meantime I am working on getting my CCNA a Solaris System Admin certifications over the summer.
I applied to the University here in town. They run a lot of correspondence and night courses. I figure a couple correspondence courses is a good place to start before I look at taking day time courses. My background is in computing, but I’m not interested in finishing my degree in computing. I do that stuff for a living, and now I want do something else, academically. Not sure what yet. There’s all these courses I am interested in, but they are spread across every academic area under the Sun! But that is for later. Step one is getting in, and then completing those first couple courses.
