transfer home videos to DVD

one of these lets you upload videos for $25 / year, which I paid, only to find out the video quality is crap! I need to investigate that more but I’m thinking that is not going to be the solution I’d hoped for…

also serves to back things up – I can just hire the nerd or the geek to come to my place and set up a remote back up at some other site.

slow very slow start. mom and dad gave us each a few dvds that they had converted for christmas. Those are nice. I have to get copies of what deb and steve got and I also need to get copies made of all the stuff I have on video tape. Finally, I need to back up my home movies of monsieur JD… argh. it is such a major project yet what is the alternative? I gotta find time to do it!
