Send a message in a bottle

I was so caught up in my holiday in Sydney that I forgot to organise this.

Will have to organise it for another time.

I would quite like to do this, but I need to plan where and when.

At the moment I am planning to go to Sydney, Australia on Boxing Day and stay for a week, to say goodbye to 2006 and hello to 2007. It’s also my birthday on New Year’s Eve, so I am planning to book myself onto one of the yachts that goes out into the harbour to have dinner and drinks and watch the fireworks at midnight. Perhaps I could do it then?

It will give a bit more of an incentive for me to go on the yacht, as I’m a little nervous about it, due to the fact that I’ll be there on my own and it’s typically the type of thing that couples and families do, so I’m worried I’ll feel lonely while doing it. However, long ago I realised that if I don’t do things on my own, I’ll never do them, as none of my friends seem interested in doing the same things as me. So, I guess it’s better to feel lonely doing something than to never do it at all, and the message in a bottle will add an interesting twist to the holiday.
