fly first class

Thanks to a compensation voucher from Emirates airlines in compensation for a significant complaint (probably boosted by the fact I’m in the top 10% of their frequent flyers!) I have been able to book return tickets to Beijing (for my charity trek on the Great Wall of China in aid of Macmillan Cancer relief) in FIRST CLASS! This will be my first time ever flying in first class and it will be in one of their new planes in both directions, which means first class is more than a seat, it’s a ‘private cabin’ with doors and your own mini-bar and everything! What a great way to spoil myself, especially on the 9 1/2 hr flight home after spending 5 days walking significant distances on the great Wall! Really looking forward to doing this in the fall now, and I’ll be crossing off two of my 43Things at the same time!

I experienced business class for the first time within the last 12 months and thought it was great!

Now I would love to travel in First Class to see what that is like. Especially on one of the better airlines like Emirates Airlines or Singapore Airlines.
