With the stress of end of term assignments and exams, cooking has been a huge stress reliever.
Recently I’ve made:
- Palak Paneer with home-made naan (Yum!)
- fried leeks
- asparagus with butter-pecan sauce (well.. I helped with this one)
- a new carrot cake
- vegetable pie (for Pi day—this turned out so good!)
- fried rice and veggies
- bread (I’ve never made my own before)

This week’s new recipe was sweet’n’sour veggies and rice (chicken in the one I made my bf) from a book called “favorite brand name light cooking”. It was edible, but neither of us were huge fans. I used wild rice, and it didn’t really soak up the sauce like it was supposed to.

Last week I made two new recipes, one was a salsa bean vegetarian pasta and the other was a cheese spinach spaghetti. Neither were amazing, but the change was nice :) now I gotta think of something to make this week…
