I’ve been making an effort to work on this goal. This weekend, I got my eyebrows waxed, and was pleased with the results. Today, I tried on a pair of jeans that I used to wear before I was pregnant, and they actually fit! I’m so excited. I feel like I can really start working on this goal, now that I’m back to where I used to be, and actually have clothes that either fit, or will start to fit (and clothes that I actually like wearing).
I just put together an outfit with accessories so now I have to start thinking about make-up, and hair styles. I want to find a new hair sytle, and eye-glasses.

Just getting my hair cut, and coloured makes me feel more stylish. I also got my eyebrows done.

I’m starting to plan my clothes the night before… although not stylish it does get me thinking ahead of time so that when I’m ready (someday I might just be stylish).

I found a bulletin board, that I have been using to arrange my necklaces, and earrings to. It’s really helpful especially when I’m in a hurry. Keeps things from getting tangled too.

Tonight, I was watching a show about make-overs, and the person made a point that was worth remembering. You need to have an idea of the type of image or look that you want to project, before you go out, and buy clothes. I thought that was a good tip.

I started wearing eye make-up, and have made it a bit of habit, so now I’m trying to make a goal of just wearing make-up everyday. I feel better with a bit of make-up, and it makes me feel happy.

I discovered that if I use a clear plastic container from Ikea that I can organize all of my make-up! There is one section for each type of make-up. It’s certainly going to make my time more efficient as I’ll be able to see what make-up is available. It’s also going to be easier when I have to pack for a trip. The Antonius container from Ikea works like a charm! It holds my make-up for eyes, lips, moisturizers, hair stuff, and perfume. It will also help to save space as I can put it under the sink or move it to another room if necessary.
Then I organized my nail polish into a caddy so that it’s easy to carry around when I want to do my nails. If I put all of my nail polis in one spot then I’ll know what I have so I don’t end up buying the same colours. It even holds my nail polish removers, and nail clippers.
I’m soooo excited about getting these things organized!

There is a tv show called “style by jury” and it has tips on how to improve your wardobe. It’s a tamer version of what not to wear. This show not only improves the woman’s wardobe, but attempts to tackle health, nutrition, self-image/ self-esteem/ confidence, and other issues in a firm, but friendly, fun way.
I really like the approach the show takes, and it’s amazing how the women transform in a little time as week! I also like how the show is only 30 mintues—you get to see the transformations in a short period of time!
There is one advisor on the show who gives advice on how to be a ‘bombshell beauty’ (basically how to look good, feel good, and have more confidence). I bought the book written by this advisor. I didn’t even know that she had a book. I’m really looking forward to reading this book.

I started wearing eye make-up yesterday. I’ve always had make-up for the eyes, but I don’t always wear it, so I want to make an effort to wear it everyday.
I would like to start by wearing liquid eyeliner. I haven’t worn it for a long time so my hands are shaky, and I’ve been getting messy lines, but with some practise I think that I can improve upon my technique.
The plan:
Apply liquid eyeliner, and mascara everyday!

I bought a book with some practical tips on how to be stylish! :-)
I couldn’t believe it when I saw it, because it’s such a small book, but has a lot of good advice. I’m going to start reading it soon, but until then I’ve skimmed a few sections to see the interesting bits.
