finish unpacking

A couple of weeks ago, I opened up a few more boxes, but still have to find a place for everything. I don’t want to keep storing things in the basement. I need to find proper places for stuff.

I opened some boxes tonight, and it felt like treasure hunting. It’s been a year since I packed them so it felt strange to be opening them so late in the game, but at least I’m getting closer to completing this goal.

I’ve been able to flatten a few boxes, and it has made my space larger. By working on this goal, it will allow me to finish off some other goals that are on my list of things to do! :-)

Took a bunch of boxes to the recycling depot! Can’t believe how many I had in my basement!!!!!

Going to start collapsing boxes to see how many boxes are sitting unopened in my basement. It will also help to tidy the space so that I can exercise downstairs.

This was somewhat fun! I hung a few of them on the walls so it’s starting to feel more like “my home.”

Whoo hoo! Unpacked 5 boxes today. Slowly but surely I’ll finish unpacking things! :-)

Little by little, things are getting unpacked. I think that it was a good strategy to start unpacking the kitchen things. These are things that I use daily, and are relatively small, and light for me to be carrying. I really want to finish unpacking all of the kitchen things by the end of the week, and maybe organize the pantry.

My hall closet looks fairly organized, and I think that I’ve unpacked almost all of the bathroom things.

Luckily I made an inventory of each box that I packed, although towards the end of packing, I just made quick notes as to what was in each box.

I’m not sure how many boxes I’ve unpacked so far, but I should try to find my inventory list, and calculate how many boxes I’ve opened.
