ANN HAS SHARED SOME KIND WORDS WITH ME RECENTLY.
IN MY DRINKING DAYS I MET HER BUT DIDN’T CARE TOO MUCH TO GET TO KNOW HER.
THANK GOD FOR OPENING MY HEART, EYES AND EARS NOW TO ACKNOWLEDGE PEOPLE TODAY.
I LOVE MY BFF AND I HAVE LEARNED JUST HOW MUCH THIS WOMAN ANN HAS MEANT TO HER NOW. IT GIVES ME GREAT JOY TO EVEN JUST TALK WITH ANN. THE FACT THAT ANN CARES SO MUCH FOR MY BFF SAYS A LOT RITE THERE.

I felt left out, lonely and my confidence was at a all time low. I wanted so much to talk and mingle. I made an effort and people just weren’t into it.
I kept a brave face and smiled, a great relief when it was all over to relax my face from holding my fake smile all night.
The money raised for our kindy was very good so I am real happy about that.

I don’t have to make “friends” as such but I’m attending a fundraiser quiz night at a local bar. I’m keen to be with other parents outside of kindy. I usually get hellos in the mornings by the same parents, it’ll be so nice to talk more now.
Now that I’m sober too will help me actually mingle without the jingle. Not to mention I intend to be awesome in the quiz. Particularly the entertainment questions.
And who knows with my natural charm I might begin new friendships. Put my best funny, charming, enticing personality foot forward.

I find my conversational skills are pretty good. The deep seeded fear inside me not wanting to look like a dumb ass knowingly or unknowingly forces me to be open and confident.
Last night at a band gig I met a handful of new people. It was easy to just talk, it helps too when I asked questions about themselves. Turns out i was quite funny.
I may make another goal??? relating to this one like I don’t have to make “friends” but nice experiences with people in general.

Everybody loves dogs. They’re always happy to see you. Show people when you see them they make you smile.
Become interested in people and not so much in yourself.
When joining in a conversation, join in what they’re talking about instead of starting a new topic like your problems.
