I was told my girl had head girl potential by her teacher, wow I wanted to cry. My girl quickly informed me not to because that is so not cool. I hugged and kissed her to the max once we got home :)
My son 7 is a very good reader and i haven’t been encouraging him to read at all outside of school. I intend to make an effort and do this with him more. You should see his face light up and his giant smile he has when i give him any kind of praise for his reading.
Now my darling Mr 4 is the talker. He’s like mum this, mum that just completely my shadow. It took a long time but now he plays with other kids at kindy. He LOVES playing with the trains. He loves the singing but likes to sing quietly in the back. Kindy would see the TOTAL opposite at home, i tell ya.
I am so so happy they love school and kindy. I hope and pray their enthusiasm continues in later years. Nuturing their brains is great, nuturing their spirit even more.
