I may get to mark this item off rather soon! I don’t wear many t-shirts at all any more unless the rest of my clothes are in the laundry pile! I put on make up each morning (though minimal – I prefer the natural look) and I wear my hair down at least 50% of the time. I’m happily on my way to being a feminine woman! Not that its the most important thing ever, but it does make me feel more confident sometimes.

I’d like to say that this isn’t such an effort any more. I am not high strung by any means and I never really want to be. I still were jeans that are MUCH closer to my actual size now and every time I go out looking for clothes I buy cute shirts. I still am working a bit towards better tops, but over all I put just a little more effort in. I swear part of it is the photography. I love carrying a camera with me and it’s always nice to look good for pictures. You never know what’ll come up. This may be a lot closer to being checked off.
I learned how to french braid today. (not on myself) I’ve been wearing more skirts, skorts, and sun dresses now that the weather has been warmer and have afforded myself some cute shoes too. I’m still slacking off in the hair department. I shower in the morning and would much rather just throw it up in a bun or pony tail instead of wearing it down or curling it.
I have been doing better at make up and hair but I don’t want to get too focused on looks. I think the key is to balance between sweatshirt days and dressier days because I don’t want to be high maintenance but I want to look back at pictures of me and say I was cute at the same time.
Haha. I was definitely a jeans and t-shirt gal but two of my girl friends joked with me, daring me to wear two form fitting shirts a week. At the time it seemed impossible. Now I’m doing really well but I NEVER wear skirts.
