pay off my mortgage

I made my last payment a few weeks ago. The bank didn’t seem to know how to deal with it, but after a couple of weeks, I got it straightened out.

It feels great to be free and clear!

I’m so close now, but things keep popping up that are keeping me from finishing it.. like major repairs that are needed in the bathroom.. This might delay it another year, but I’m still getting closer.

I keep hearing from lots of people that you are better off sticking your money in the stock market, but I did not enjoy the crashes of 2000 and 9/11/01.

I want to live free and without debt, and this is the only debt I have.

After lots of financial sacrifice and saving, I hope to finally be able to achieve this, this year.
