At least it’s the right direction. A-OK! I finally realized – I’m only 1 size bigger than I was when I graduated high school – and that was in the 80s, and I have had 2 kids. I look fine, I shouldn’t beat myself up- nobody should. I’m healthy and fit, and I still look great in jeans. Enough worrying!

I don’t always “stick to” the diet, but I am eating well and down another 4 lb. I know that 8 pounds lost isn’t much over so much time, but geez, I haven’t gained any, and I feel better. :) I think I can even keep it up a good while longer ;) Yippee!
Back to school, and I’m having a hard time when I’m starving and there are a million free baked goods on the table in the lounge. At home I don’t buy cookies – ever – I can’t resist any cookie, no matter how awful. Pastries are off limits too – how on earth can I resist hot, fresh, free baked goods when I don’t have access to my own food and have to go into that room several times a day??? Ugh.
At least the scones were delicious!
And a step back? I seem stuck. It’s hard to get through a week without a difficult day out that I didn’t plan for. Perhaps the new school teaching year will bring a more regular routine, which seems to be key for me so I can plan… and stay away from the chips and salsa on every table out here in New Mexico!
I’m not sure why- it didn’t used to be, if I ate a good breakfast with protein- I’ll have to start over with lots of notes about what is working for me and what is not – ugh!!!!
Not bad so far but I’m at a stalling place. I may be eating too many carbs. When this semester is over next week I’ll recheck and revisit!
At least I settled on one to do- it helps to make a decision. I enjoyed Weight Watchers. This time I’ll be happy with just 5 pounds (though 15 would be awesome!)
I feel better- only 3 or 4 pounds down, but I feel better, and my clothes feel better!
