I have been thinking that it wasn’t true. After all, Dumbledore told Harry to do whatever he said to do, and he said to kill him, but Harry wouldn’t. So… I figured it was not a real death, but one that would let him come back stronger or in another form later. You know, one of those things that happen to wizards, like a deus ex machina.

Alas, though, I see JK Rowling in interviews describing him as “killed off” so I think I’m wrong. Drat!
