I can do around 15 in one go, max. I’ve been training for a while and I’m really doubting if I can ever reach 25. That’s a high number!
I used to be able to do this back when I was a younger (and lighter), but now I’m doubting it.

I’m bad! one of my gym days involves supersetting chins + pushups, each set to failure. My first chins set gets to around 14. I doubt I can ever reach 25, I’m just not that strong. Pushups I can get into the 40’s on the first set, then it’s all downhill from there.
My friend and I are doing chinups while our gym is closed over the holidays. The idea is that you do as many sets as it takes to make 100 chinups. Usually I start at sets of 10 and then it degrades quickly :)
At 50 chins, we change grip from a wide-grip ‘overhand’ grip to a close grip ‘underhand’ grip.
So far, it’s an awesome workout, and great for surfing!
My goal is to reach 25 chins on the first set as part of my 100 chins workout.
but that when I was 12kgs lighter. I’ve not tried to do 25 in a row, I usually always do sets of 10 at the gym.
will try it out later in the week.
