Have been trying to keep up a regular bedtime schedule (regular being anywhere from 19:30-22:00) over the past eight days and I’m feeling a lot better than I have in a while. Unfortunately I still feel terribly tired most of the time—even when I’m getting over twelve hours of sleep—but I suppose my anemia explains that. I’ve started taking iron supplements and my mother bought me molasses today. Hopefully these will help a bit.

Skipped two nights of sleep to work on assignments and master’s applications this week. By Thursday evening I was totally incoherent and the walls were beginning to change colors. I finally gave out and put myself to bed around 19:30, woke up at 5:30 the next morning. Last night I fought to stay awake until 21:00 to read a book, but was out by 20:00 and up again around 6:30 this morning.
This certainly beats my former routine of three hours of sleep per night and four hour “naps” in the afternoon, but I wonder how long I’ll be able to keep it up.
