Pimp my ride

I think I’m going to attempt to build my own center console.
The one that comes with the Ranger is okay but I’d like to build one that has a dedicated space for my Sirius Satellite Radio
as well as a spot for my Nomad.
I’d like to include a switch to select between playing the Nomad or Sat Radio. I’ve seen West Coast Customs start with creating the console in MDF but I’m not sure what happens after that. Looks like they probably go over it with fiberglass. I think this site should help me out.

I’m a big fan of MTV’s Pimp my Ride.
I’ve been trying to come up with some ideas to pimp my own ride, a 2001 Ford Ranger. I’ve thought about a refrigerator. It’s actually very practical but since you can buy fridges for cars right off the store shelves, I don’t know how much that rates on the pimp-my-ride scale. A DVD player would be kinda cool, too but I’d probably wreck my truck watching a movie, so I should probably stay away from that.
A recent episode of Pimp my Ride had the gang installing a popcorn maker into a Chevy Cavalier. This is definitely do-able with a power inverter (converts 12v dc to 120v ac).
