speak once a week in italian

after almost a year! I have talk to a very good friend of mine in skype, patient enough to try to guess what do I want to say (at least first few minutes:) It was awesome! I hope that this italian discussion clubs are going to continue.
Meanwhile I still read Charlie brown and his gang in italian :)

on sunday, while i was having a lunch with my friend, a group of interesting italians, sat to the next table. I wanted so much to start a conversation with them, but i didn´t find a courage. obviously, they didn´t have any plan, they were just “blummeln”, looking for something interesting… it was so nice to hear italian again, but it would be so much better if i could talk to them…

but I want to be in touch with Italian, I´ve started to translate parts of the book “L´anno migliore della tua vitta” (“Your best year yet!”) for my friend who´s willing to think about joining me in that goal. It´s convenient to fulfill two goals at one time :)

When I speak Italian, I get into a good mood. I feel different, I use other gestures, I speak in a different rhythm. I like to chat in Italian, even that my grammar is not very good (I hate articles and prepositions; sometimes I just make them up). When I was the last time in Italy, my Italian friends made me to speak in Italian instead of very convenient English. First two days were sooo complicated – as I haven´t been talking in Italian for more than 4 years. I had a headache, I didn´t say so many things I wanted to, just because the sentence seemed to me to be too complicated… and than the miracle in my mind happened again – I switched into Italian and I was able to say sentences, that surprised me…
Now I´m back home and I miss chiacerare in italiano… I do not want to attend language course (not that I don´t need it), I would like just to have a cappucino with somebody who
can speak a bit italian and wants to talk about anything…
