How indulgent is it...

...to take riding lessons? A four session package, with horse rental would set me back $350. Since I’m not going to Spain, I feel like I should do something educational with the money that I was planning to use. Perhaps this would be a good way to do it. The class seems very comprehensive, with time spent on care of the horse and the tack. These are all things I’d like to know.

...in my pocket has the info about a lady who does super cheap horseback riding lessons. I think I may splurge sometime here in July and go for it.

I hope the horse is a bay or a palimino… those are the horses in my dreams.

Going to the rodeo...

...cemented this goal. I want to ride again so badly! It would be really fun to do a trail-ride and camp-out with horses. There are a bunch of places in Wyoming and Montana that can only be reached by horse-back, otherwise they’re just too far away. So, I’ve got paliminos and quarterhorses dancing in my daydreams.
