I am 33% done, and loving it. It is a fascinating and beautiful imagination of what it takes for a soul to be right with God. If nothing else, the book is encouraging me to think about the fact that all of my actions have weight, and that God is intimately involved in every one of our lives.

I’m still waiting to continue this one until I finish my first read-through of the Bible. After that, it’s off to the races on Purgatory!
I read Inferno two years ago and was dissuaded from continuing by some goofy losers whose opinions on books I will never listen to again. Anyway, I loved it and recently decided to continue. I bought “Il Purgatorio” about a week ago (on sale!) and I’m going to start it this weekend.
OH YEAH! I just remembered what I saw in Italy last month! While I was in Florence (Firenze), I saw the statue of Dante outside of Il Duomo di Santa Croce! He’s very tall and fierce looking. There is a picture of me standing by it, and maybe I’ll post it here eventually. I also went to mass at the small church he attended. It was cool.
I love you all, and have a nice night.
