make a six figure salary

Well, I’ve definitely made it. I’ve begun socking away a big portion of the income into my retirement, and simultaneously cutting back living expenses. In 12 years, I expect to have enough invested in safe funds to be able to live off of the interest. Then, I’ll be able to work at a non-profit I believe in without having to worry about the money.

Can’t wait!

Well, after 10 years in my field, I’ve come to the point where I had the option to turn down two six figure salary offers. I still avoid trading money for happiness and the two jobs wouldn’t have been as enjoyable as the one I ended up taking.

Hopefully the next job will be both six figure and enjoyable.
