My diet is generally:

Breakfast – Either a banana or cut up fruit (strawberries, banana, grapes)

Snack – Almonds, raisins

Lunch – Brown rice with tomatoes and onion, black beans

Snack – Carrots and broccoli with organic spinach hummus, or an orange

Dinner – A salad (baby spinach, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, red pepper) with 1 tsp. of Lite Italian dressing (I know, my one non-detox item!) And, if still hungry, more brown rice.

With some Yogi Detox Berry tea and lots and lots of water.

I’m really starting to get used to eating this way! Overall, I think I can incorporate this type of eating into my daily ritual, even once my detox is completed :-)



I've never done this before 9 months ago

... and I’ve been thinking it would be a great idea. I need to rid myself of all the sugar I’ve been eating, the caffeine and fat, all of the icky foods I know are terrible for me and I have slowly been adding back to my diet.

SO. I’m going to start out with a strict detox for one week starting on Sunday: based on raw fruits and vegetables, LOTS of water and lemon water, herbal tea, pumpkin seeds and brown rice. I’ll slowly add back more healthy things, and live at the health foods store.

I’ve never actually dieted before; Give me the will power!
