Complete Mother Earth cross stitch picture

I had really bad allergies this week and my eyelids totally swelled up. As a result I didn’t leave the house for two days, so with that and stitching for at least an hour a day the rest of the week I got a lot done! She’s looking good….by the end of this week she’ll have a face! lol

I started on this a week ago today and here is my progress so far… :)

I am really excited to be doing this beautiful picture! It’s called “Mother Earth” by The Gold Collection and is based on a poster celebrating the 25th anniversry of Earth Day. What’s cool is I have a copy of that poster framed, so this will go nicely with it.

This will be the largest picture I have ever stitched and I am very excited. I envision this going in my baby’s room some day so this is in a way a sub-goal of becoming a parent. I’m starting to set things in motion for having a baby by putting the intention out there and making a sort of hope chest of items for my future child. This picture is one of them. :)
