I think I’m strugging with this one because lately I haven’t had much structure or routine in my life at all. At first it felt good to be free from confining schedules, but the responsibilities I have still exist and things still need to get done. Having lots of “free” time isn’t much of a gift if I waste it and allow distractions to consume me.
I tend to zoom in on things. I may spend a day doing nothing but crafts, or reading, or helping my husband with his work, or cleaning the house, and at the time it feels important and all-consuming, but then at the end of that day I think about what I DIDN’T get done.
Obviously this is not working for me, and I need to create some balance here and get into a rhythm that helps me to feel whole. Must spend some time really reflecting on what I most want to accomplish on a daily/weekly basis, and then create a schedule to follow. Hmmm…
