New Year's Resolution #1 1 year ago

If I could only do this one thing, so many other goals would fall into place. If I could get up early enough, I would have enough time to do the daily organizing/cleaning in my morning routine, and I’d have enough time to do a little exercise.

So starting Jan. 2, I’m waking up at 7:00 until vacation is over the following Monday at which time I’ll be waking up at 6:00. I’ve tried waking up before then and it’s just too early for me right now.



Back to the routine 2 years ago

I’ve done a good job of getting up by 7:00 almost every day of spring break. Now that I’m heading back to work I need to get up even earlier. I’m going to shoot for 5:45 so that I can see about fitting in a little extra exercise time.



It's a dang good thing 2 years ago

I made this a challenge this week, otherwise I would never have got out of bed at all. Daylight Savings Time has whopped me upside the head and left me down for the count.



Another week 2 years ago

I’m going to keep this challenged for at least another week. I got up with my alarm for one week, but I don’t think it’s quite a habit yet. There were a couple of days where it was tough.

I will be getting up every day at 6:00 during the week and 7:00 on the weekends. I’m hoping that I can train my body to get up at earlier on its own.
