I learned at the age of 4

with nobody teaching me, just my Gram reading “Green Eggs and Ham” over and over again. (I try to remember her undying patience when Baby Girl asks for her Maisy book for the zillionth time.) So now D’s 5 and he’s so ready to learn. I don’t want to make him feel any stress, so I just want to make a concentrated effort to play more word games with him, work on his sight word book a little more regularly, and make more books with him. I also like ReynoldsGirl’s idea of sight word flash cards.
