My parents are divorced and I live with my mom so I don’t get to see/talk to my dad that often. He has some issues that sometimes really makes me angry. But I’m going to try to call him more often to help him out and sort of guide him in the right direction. I feel more like I’m the parent in this situation, which also makes me angry…but he is my dad. I think if I try to talk to him more and guide him it might urge him to be a better person and hopefully a happier person. I’ve learned not to let his issues bother me/control me, which is why I use to avoid talking to him. I think this new approach will definatly ease the stress I feel in this relationship.
