speak spanish fluently

El Lago Del Bosque: month long Spanish emersion program through Concordia college this summer! should be tons of fun… Im super psyched!

Me gusta estar ocupado. Pero si tengo tiempo libre me encanta jugar futbol, dibujar, o leer. A menudo en escuela (antes de voy a mis clases) me gusta estar en la biblioteca. Muchas personas juegan al ajedrez o a las damas, pero no me gusta jugarlos. Prefiero leer libros y revistas. Cuando estoy en la clase de arte con el sr. Yankee me gusta dibujar con los lapices de colores o pintar. Los dos de los lugares, la sala de arte y la biblioteca son tranqilos y sin ruidos, lugares perfectas para estar las mananas.

Cuando no estoy en Lander pero en viaje, me encanta sacar fotos, nadir, ir a unas obras de teatro, y muchas pasa tiempos otros. Voy a Minnesota con me mama y hacemos muchas cosas interesantes, que no podemos hacer en Lander El viaje pasado, fuimos a una obra de teatro se llama “Con Amor, Janis.” Es el cuento de la vida de Janis Joplin con un grupo do Rock que fuieron muy bien. Tambien, fuimos con mi tio Julian a un resturante Italiano. La comida fue fantastica! En este viaje fui a “Hancock Fabrics” Para comprar materiales para hacer un vestido. Me encanta coser.

Muchas personas creen que Lander es un poco aburrido pero hay montanas y bosques cereca de la ciudad queson perfectas par air da camping. A menudo cuando tengo que estar solo, Voy a la Montana Mesa y camino. Los veranos escalo los rocas en Sinks Canyon con mis amigos. Unas pasa tiempos que no me gusta hacer.

MetaFora77 is my new internet spanish penpal!!!! Im super excited! Is there a better way to learn a language than just getting out there and speaking it (or using it in a new context like email)? Despues de este momento, voy a hablar solamente en espanol para siempre (perro solamente para este goal, por supuesto). Segun mi amigo Ruben, yo necesito pricticar hablar y escribir mas. Yo intiendo bien, perro es mas importante para me que hablo mas. Today I had a long conversation with this awesome guy named Ruben… being from Mexico, he was fluent in Spanish. For the past 6 months he has been living with a friend of my aunt’s and sculpting for this studio called Eagle Bronze, as well as taking English classes at a local community colege… I always feel so awkward talking to people who are fluent in both Spanish and English, so the fact that we were both on the same level (in terms of fluency in a second language) made things alot more fun… I was proud of the fact that I could carry on a conversation in spanish for an extended period of time and with such a broad range of topics…the more I have opportunities like this the sooner i will achieve my goal…. yay!
