Ran the 6 miles first thing this morning. Hard going at times but good towards the end & really happy I did it. 18 miles in total this week. A good start.

First run in two weeks and it was great to get back to it. Supporting Peter in his marathon tomorrow. Perhaps next year I’ll be doing it too!
Forgot to update – did a good 30 minute run in the gym followed by 20 mins on the rower. Not sure if I’m running today though- might go for a swim later.
Thinking about doing one in May so did a mini version in the gym today – 20 mins rower, 20 mins cycle & 20 mins run.
up the gym. Only 4.2 miles but nice & easy pace.
Did it in 2hr42. First half marathon I’ve ever done. Can’t believe I did it. Really aching now though!!!
Entered a half marathon. Spur of the moment thing – it’s tomorrow. Feel nervous but excited.
yesterday but also 20 on the bike & 20 on the rower – a mini gym triathalon.
Did 45 mins yesterday but was the only run of the week. Better than nothing but need to do more I know!!!
Ran 40 mins yesterday (gluteal programme:beginner) & 20 mins rowing & 30 mins today (cross country program: beginner) & 20 mins rowing. Good thing too given what I’ve been eating – see Cooking entry!
