get braces

It’s April..I need the money to get them put on..which I don’t have at the moment :( and I spent so much money THAT I NO LONGER HAVE..doing this…ugh. I need a job.

So I went through with the consultation at a place that I found, I had pictures taken, I had my teeth molded into some sappy wax(taking my top set of teeth hurt the most!)Now, it’s time for me to get them on very soon. I just might put them in around the beginning of April or sometime around there. I’m kind of nervous about the experience but I can only hope for the better to be honest…Let’s see how it goes. I’m looking for different places to consult my issue and see if I can go in for a official consultation! I’m hoping that this all works out. I really can only hope that if it’s meant to be it works, I really want to fix this problem!

My consultation. I already know there is a $50 fee. I saved $25 and my father is giving me $25, so that way technically, I would have spent $25 on that consultation. I’m really hoping that I am able to go through with this,the last time I got my hopes up really high to then find out that I couldn’t afford the monthly plan(different dental office). I can only hope that this time around it does work out.

That this year I get them, I really want to fix this problem A.S.A.P! I’m kind of nervous and excited because I want to see the change!

So I had scheduled an appointment with the office I’ve been watching. I got mad though, they charge $50 for a consultation if you are 18+ which is my case. I feel they should have put that somewhere on their website because I really got my hopes high. SO..because that happened, I had to end up canceling it because I don’t have the $50 right now. Soon though, God Willingly – I will and then maybe I can go and see what options I’ll have.

See, I take very good care of my teeth, I brush twice a day, floss etc. My top set are pretty straight,but my bottom set has some crowding. I have no problem smiling, but sometimes when I talk, I get self conscious because I’ve had people point it out to me and I see when people look at them.The last time I went for a consultation with an ortho, he told me that my top set could actually look better if I wore braces and that my bottom set could be fixed all in one year(Maximum treatment time). However, due to financial issues,my parents couldn’t afford the monthly fee (around $200 per month), so I never went back to him again. Now,I found this orthodontist in my area that is known for supplying good costs for her services, sometime in the fall I hope to schedule a consultation with her and GOD willingly, a solution can be found and hopefully it can be cheap and I can get braces :)To be honest, I would REALLY love to have invisalign but because I know it’s more pricey, I think I’ll just get traditional braces. I mean, at the end of the day, as long as my teeth are straighter I will be so much more happier and will want to get them whitened :D
