Start by drinking 2 glasses a day and try to increase the amount by one glass every week until I’m drinking five glasses of water a day (the ideal for my body weight).

Last summer, I got really sick from dehydration. It is doubly sad because I am a nurse and I know better! I’m starting out slow, drinking 2 bottles per day and then slowly increasing what I’m drinking. I have a bad soda habit (Sprite, yum), so I am setting up a routine where I have to drink x amount of water before I get a soda (right now 2 bottles of water or NO Sprite). Hopefully I will be drinking the recommended 8 glasses a day in no time!
