My kids got to go to the convention in Minneapolis with their grandmaother. My son and middle daughter had a blast, while my oldest daughter was interested primarily in the ds9 stuff and the Lost booth. My son gtoto meet the guy who played T’Pol’s grandfather and was invited to go up to DeLancie’s (the guy who playes Q) room and bring him down. Their grandmother didn’t like the idea of a boy being led around a hotel by a strange man, so he was denied! I agree with the grandmother though; there was just too many people running around for that. They had fun. My middle daughter walked away with a haul simply because the vendors liked seeing kids there; apparently there weren’t that many kids attending that were actually fans.
