The daily bit of wisdom;
“We are sure to die. This is so true it scarcely bears mentioning, it seems. But it is also true that though the momentum of desire and action we find ourselves always assuming, taking for granted, another gracious stretch of days to wander through—year upon forgiving year in which we may leisurely revise our philosophies, start or close agreeable projects, and maybe settle someday into some kind of religious faith. Unmindful of death, we grow negligent and live like the froth on a splashing stream—disoriented, weightless, and without conviction.” Bhikkhu Nyanasobhano
