I have no problem with being vegan, but because my family is vegetarian and there are some [junk] foods out there that I loved ever since I was little, it is hard to accomplish. At school, financial aid provides free lunch for me and there are nothing vegan there, so I just recently stopped eating lunch and I bring some food from home. (I plan to just save some dinner portions for lunch? I’ll find a better way.) I feel much more relieved not eating dairy yogurt, string cheese, muffin (contains egg, I think) or eating salad with cheddar and egg in it. I was so fed up with eating that lunch that I decided just to quit it.
I want to stay vegan for a long time, and not be tempted by cheese or egg. I am lactose intolerant and can get stomachaches after drinking milk (it tastes nasty anyways..) or eating large amounts of cheese. (Which I will never again do) I can also get a stomachache from eating meat, fish, or egg sometimes. The real problem is shrimp and egg since my mother brings home to-go from restaurants now.
