Grow a vegetable garden

our first potatoes, a few beets, baby carrots and spring onions. I will pick a lettuce later for the salad.

I’m counting this as done now!! Zonino!!

we ate lettuce from our garden and harvested the Strawberry – whic is now in pride of place in our fruit bowl on top of al the shop bought fruit. Still trying to decide how to serve it.

and it now actually looks like a vegetable plot. Had some more lettuce for lunch – nothing else is near ready yet, but the broad beans are looking promising.

The lettuces needed thinning, so I took the very young leaves and plants that had been thinned out, washed them, and we had then for dinner with some tomatoes, new potatoes and crayfish tails.

Soon I hope we will be eating our own potatoes and tomatoes too ^{but not our own crayfish!}

are coming up…YAY!

Got some bins and ordered a riddle.

The bed is now getting planted – but no signs of anything coming up yet.

And building the bed now. Already put some carrots in the herb plot ready to transplant once they start growing.

Mmmm homegrown veg – can’t wait
