DH and I have been discussing a trip to Tromso 6 months ago

to do just this. However, not much point now until winter as there will hardly be any dark there now.

So maybe next January this will happen.

Flights to Tromso are fully booked 3 years ago

all over the Christmas New Year holiday period. So I have two options…do it next year, or do it in January. We can have our Christmas in January can’t we??

I believe I've persuaded my DH 3 years ago

to make a trip to Tromso this winter. Better do some internet research while the interest is there, and get it booked.

Christmas Holiday??? 3 years ago

Here’s an idea to achieve this one. I suggest to TOH (the other half!) that we go away for Christmas somewhere in the Arctic circle. Maybe Norway or Iceland? Might increase my changes of seeing the aurora.
