The second reminder that I am far too much a packrat came to me yesterday as I was reorganizing my email mailboxes. I dug around and found a folder full of email that has followed me through four email address changes and dates back as far as about 8 years. This folder represents nearly every piece of email I sent or received between 1997 and 2002, most of which I will never look at again because I dread the idea of going through it all… and yet I can never delete the folders in case I get in my head that I received an email in 1998 that I absolutely must find again….
How does one stop one’s brain from behaving this way? :)
