Make a movie

I’m still keeping this as my things to do… but I made a film… not necessarily a movie… but a film nevertheless. I was assigned a project in english class to create a Fable and present it using technology. With the recent American politics being in the minds of many people, I made a satire of Governor Sarah Palin. The film is composed of 4 parts; her Interview Prep.. CNN Interview Pt1… Her Infomercial… and CNN interview Pt2. Check it out on YT… DannyDirectorDude lol Hope you enjoy. Again… still keeping this goal as that project wasn’t a REAL movie with a storyline… but I’m still proud of it! :)

I’ve always loved film, but never found that in myself until a couple of years ago when I actually picked up a camera. I’ve always been fascinated with movies, and the one movie that really has lived in my mind, is Titanic. I’ve been studying the ship for about 10 years now, and I have really put myself in the story of the ship and I’ve sort of become a Titanic artist- I love art, and I always draw.

Recently, I decided I want to write my own Titanic movie. I’m only 16 years old, live on the east coast, and doesn’t go to college yet. I have so many ideas in my head, and I just have trouble getting them OUT, out on paper. I visualize scenes and other things like camera movements and such in my head.

Before, I used to think that absolutely NO one could out do Cameron’s film. When you start to write your own film, you develop an appreciation for the hard work that film crews and actors go through to create a masterpiece. I think that Titanic is truly a masterpiece even though it receives much criticism. This film is an inspiration to me.
